I was recommended this product by my dentist as this was my third set of retainers due to them breaking due to improper cleaning. They recommended the Zima pod and it was actually cheaper on Amazon than their office. However no where online could I find a size so I ordered the smaller one which is the only one Amazon sells in hopes it worked. I was surprised it got all that gunk out of my Invisalign retainer with ONE run on normal mode. It is quite loud. Louder than my dehumidifier and it sent my cat flying to the other room. It’s loud enough I hear it on the other side of my home. Luckily it’s only 10 mins with both retainers. I will be returning it simply because it doesn’t hold both retainers and I have already ordered the larger one. Some things I think need improved: a locking mechanism on the lid (my cat would love to knock this over) and a different unscented or scented flavor of the tablets- I cannot stand the smell of mint. Overall though, I recommend the product. I did repurchase it in a larger size after one use. It really is life changing. My retainers cost $427 so it’s an important investment to keep them clean!
